There is this recurrent dream I have where I am walking through the walls of my grandparents home, trying to get to this wonderful room full of awesome things. However, it's really hard to get to the room. There's weird cloth, cobwebs, broken wooden beams, and random junk laying everywhere as I wiggle through the walls, and the fact that I keep sticking to the floor.
So, we see a siamese/himalayan mix cat having the same dream. Like my dream, there is surprise goodies laying everywhere, plus some spooky surprises. As in my dream, it's somewhat in color, but mostly black and white. Everything is skewed funny and there is some weird static. Welcome to what I dream about at night... except it features an adorable kitty! :) I wonder if he is trying to get to my favorite room, as well!

Ooh! There you go with subtle coloring again! You are really making it work nicely. I really like the mood in this picture. I also have hidden room dreams, and the rooms are always hard to get to, but are very cool rooms (usually sunny and bright and decorated in a classy style). I hope he makes it. :)

Thank you hun. :) I really like subtle coloring. There are some pieces coming up that will have a lot of bright colors (the commissions), but as for my own work, I think I'll do more subtly. It makes the piece more mysterious and helps set the mood easier, I think. :D The rooms in my dreams are also sunny and classy. :D I wish I could be in those rooms in real life, they feel so "at home."

That's better than my recurring dream.....I'm walking through a house. It's familiar....I don't know why. As I walk into one of the rooms and look about, someone or something startles me and I dart into the next room: another room, just like the last, but decayed slightly. And now there are more of the creatures that startled me....and they're slightly more sinister. It just goes on from there until I'm surrounded in a place reminiscent of Silent Hill 4....

I've always had a fondness for mysterious supernatural surroundings, and this gives me that tingly feeling :) And it actually sent a chill down my spine after the third or so time I really gave it a good look and noticed the doorway :)) I just love the atmosphere!
