A gryphon jumps over a broken wall as he runs into battle. Commission for Sable Gryphon, who is a total sweetie, to commemorate the time that he spent in Iraq. Commission for Reggie Speakman of his character, Hurtful, walking around the streets in the dead of a cold night. I absolutely *loved* doing this commission and had a blast painting it! I especially loved painting the snow and it was great capturing this character. Commission for Andrew Oldaker of his character, Kaelyn Riverwind of the Mawi tribe. I absolutely love this piece very much, but I am NOT digging that fur texture, granted he's supposed to be a somewhat wet otter. :) So, I think I'll just do fur the normal way I do them. Also, I need to work on hair! But, that background is rockin' and I love the piece for those reasons.
