Commission for my dear friend, Jareth! He and I had a conversation before I moved to Indiana. He said that he wishes that he could go with me. I said we had no room and he said he could be a pet. I was like, "Yeah, you could be my pet cow! :D You could live in the backyard! We'd just put a cow suit on you!" This is how this picture came to be. Convention book cover for Confuzzled 2009! What an honor to be asked to do a convention book cover! :) The staff have been absolutely wonderful to work with, as well! I had a hard time getting the background correct, as I have never been in a train station, but I guess I got it right enough. :) So, we have their mascot, Brok the Badger, chasing after a train! FWA 2008 commission for :icongearran: This guy is such a sweet dude to work with. I totally recommend him. :) Here is his arctic wolf character mountain climbing in the, well, arctic! I had a bit of perspective trouble on this one. I was using a reference photo for mountain climbing and the horizon was always horizontal in the background, but I think it makes it look like the character is magically hovering in mid-air! The fact that the entire ground beneath him is snow doesn't help to ground him and show that he is dangling from a mountain, either. The client loves it, though, and that is all that matters! © S.
